Modern slavery and human trafficking statement
Modern slavery is a crime that violates the fundamental human rights of individuals, resulting in the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.
MC2 Capital is committed to ensuring our practices help to combat slavery and human trafficking.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement.
Organisational structure
MC2 Capital is a specialist funding and investment partner, providing capital funding for long term, highly secure, asset and infrastructure projects.
Our supply chains
Our supply chains include:
- Financial Institutions
- Professional Services Companies, including legal, accounting and consulting firms
- Service providers, such as website hosting, email and IT services.
Our policies on slavery and human trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
Considering the obligation to report on measures to ensure that all parts of our business and supply chain are slavery free we have reviewed our business structure, workplace policies and procedures to assess their effectiveness in identifying and tackling modern slavery issues and our compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chain.
We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chains comply with our values we have a dedicated compliance team, which consists of representatives from the following departments:
- Legal
- Human resources & accounting
- Procurement
- Sales.
The compliance team is led by the Managing Director of MC2 Capital.
